God of Hope and Beauty, you lead each generation to serve and praise you in worship and its setting:
Open us to the leading of your Holy Spirit, that we may know and do the things which please you in our time;
Direct the members of our committee, our architect (name), and this congregation to build what is essential and add what is good, that this hour of prayer may bless all who enter it;
Inspire us, our members and friends, to take up this task with our prayers, participation, and financial support, that the ministry of your Son may continue and grow through this people and within these walls;
This we ask in the name of Him who is the chief cornerstone, Jesus Christ our Lord, AMEN.
